There is a lot of planning as we prepare for the Great Loop departure.

- Grampy is doing well & will watch over things while we are gone

- I visited a family members that I haven't seen in a long while

- Don't have pictures of everyone, but was great to visit with my mom (in GA),

my sister (Jane), brother (Jimmy and his family) and my friend Kim Klein (in GA)

- Captain Joel, has been working to ensure the boat is "Loop Ready"

- Changing all of the filters

- Securing and installing all safety features (i.e. new fire extinguishers, carbon

monoxide and smoke detectors)

- Wi-fi Ready (yes! we can watch football during our travels)

- Fuel polishing complete (we weren't sure how long the fuel had been in the 3rd, reserve tank). We had it tested to ensure it was usable fuel. Note: there are a couple of long stretches that may require us to use the reserve tank of fuel.

- Fuel polishing consist of filtering and purifying (and possibly removable of

fuel). We were lucky, our fuel was good and we were able to KEEP IT :-)

- If you are in need of this service: Contact: USA Fuel Service, James Jolivette

Phone Number: 866-575-3835

- Planned a few flights that will allow us to see Jonathan (while traveling the loop)

- We will fly home to Missouri for Thanksgiving

- During Jonathan's Christmas break, he will fly to Tampa and travel to the Florida Keys before returning back to Arkansas for school.

Joel has secured landscapers and other home maintenance people to assist while we are away. We have closed the pool and will not open it until we return.
